HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Is it way, way, way too late to wish people a happy new year in the middle (end?) of January?
Well… you’re getting my “Happy New Year!” excitement anyway!
2016 is revving up to be QUITE a year already. I will be posting more narrative posts soon… but I just felt like I had to get you up to speed.
So. Many. Updates.
First… the life update . And excerpt from my family holiday card:
(Yes, my married name is Heeren and my maiden and professional name is Glassberg… I have an identity crisis daily)
And now for the professional updates!
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 27th
“BEN & BECCA’S TOTALLY RETRO B’NAI MITZVAH”
I am writing, directing and will be appearing in this original, interactive, 80s-themed comedy show.

I have been commissioned by The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh to put this together as a fundraiser.
Upon its completion, the plan it to take it around to various cities. So, if you’re in the theater world and/or non-for profit world and would be interested in discussing the production, please get in touch.
And of course, if you find yourself in the Pittsburgh area on February 27th, here is information on tickets.

So, I wrote a piece for Kveller about being judged on my parenting by someone else’s child.
A few of the comments ended up being very judgmental towards me (I know, I know… never read the comments).
The comments on Kveller’s FB page are even worse.
Feel free to leave your own comment on the article and share it if you’d like.
They even gave me a whole bio page: http://bit.ly/1PCKsJF
For those who missed it, I found this video in my archives… it’s me hosting the red carpet for a comedy event for Clorox back in 2012 and includes interviews with comedians Carol Leifer, Brian Kiley, Frances DiLorinzo and Justin Worsham. From “Dancing with the Stars,” Valentin Chmerkovskiy, and from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Kyle Richards.
