No… I’m not done posting about New Zealand (or even Australia for that matter), but we are still living our lives here in Los Angeles as we attempt to get over jet lag. It’s not easy wrapping our minds around the fact that we left LA at the very, very beginning of summer, arrived in Australia at the very, very beginning of winter, and returned to LA at the very, very beginning of fall… which still feels like summer as almost every day since our return has been in the 90s.
Well, this past weekend, we did the most autumnal thing we could think of and headed to the Harvest Festival at Underwood Farms in Moorpark.
Here’s a little Meme I made to (hopefully) give you a laugh… feel free to SHARE it!
All in all, it was a great day. However, once we paid the “cover charge”, there were still a bunch of activities that cost even MORE (pony rides, face painting, petting zoo, etc.). So that was a bummer. I mean, I understand paying extra for food or for the pumpkins you buy… but a petting zoo? C’mon!
Anyway, here’s what we DID enjoy… including pig races, eating Hawaiian ice, and pumpkin picking…
…and worry not, included is the obligatory picture of Little Moo sitting on a pumpkin.
More to come,
What great photos. Looks like the perfect fall day.
